Free exhibition to feature remodeling contractors and home service providers from the Home Improvement Contractors of Staten Island 

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – If you are considering a home improvement in the near future, you will not want to miss the seventh annual Home Remodeling Expo hosted by the Home Improvement Contractors of Staten Island (HIC) in Center Court of the Staten Island Mall.

The exhibition – March 10, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and March 11, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – will provide homeowners the opportunity to meet with a variety of HIC home remodelers and service professionals, some of the area’s best-known experts in their fields. HIC is a nonprofit trade organization whose mission is to educate consumers on the importance of hiring licensed, insured and reputable contractors.

“The Home Remodeling Expo provides homeowners the opportunity to engage local Staten Island based contractors, who are licensed and insured,” said Jeff Troost, President of HIC of Staten Island. “In addition to having the ability to speak one on one with some of Staten Island’s leading contractors, there will be free family-friendly activities during the two day event”. On both Saturday and Sunday, Pinot’s Palette will provide children’s painting, and on Sunday the National American Indian Foundation, will provide an interactive exhibit, featuring the Red Storm Drum and Dance Troupe. “This year, children will have the opportunity to enjoy the show along with their parents”.

Visitors to the exhibition, sponsored by Valpak®, will be able to meet with experts in such specialties as heating and air conditioning; general contracting; masonry; flooring; financing; kitchen and bath renovations; windows and doors; screen rooms; fencing; swimming pools; decorating, and more.

 “Our participating vendors are looking forward to interacting with our local community,” said Lana Seidman, Executive Director of HIC of Staten Island. “Each year, the expo provides homeowners the ability to meet reputable contracting firms dedicated to honesty, integrity, responsibility, unrelenting professionalism, quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.”

Stuart Roaker, Chair of the HIC of Staten Island Home Show, added, “Some of Staten Island’s leading contractors will be on hand to answer any questions about projects of all sizes” and added “we encourage everyone to stop by HIC’s booth in Center Court to discuss their home-remodeling ambitions with experienced HIC professionals.”
