Six students from Ralph McKee, Staten Island Tech and Petrides High School received scholarships towards their continued education in the Architecture, Engineering and Electrical Engineering trades. Since 2016, the Staten Island Chapter of the AIA, along with the HIC of Staten Island have provided over $28,000 worth of scholarship to deserving students that demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievements, and who are pursuing careers in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Trades.
“You want to work with people who have the same moral and business standards as you. You want to associate yourself with a group of peers you can rely on,” he added.
